How we use cookies and local storage

Valo Uno uses no advertising or analytics trackers. The web app stores only what the service needs to work: your login, your own choices and payment security. That is why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing optional to accept or decline.

What is stored in your browser

Necessary app storage
Your language choice, your latest search area, the workspace you last chose, a temporary role choice during Google or Apple sign-in, the code from an invitation or takeover link while you use it, and a quick cache with a limited copy of data you recently fetched are stored locally in your browser. Until the tab is closed, where to send you after signing in and two technical guards against repeated reloads are also kept temporarily. The language choice is also saved to your account so emails can be sent in the right language; nothing else is sent onwards, and nothing is used for tracking.
Login and account
Your login session is stored in the browser (via our login service Supabase) so you stay signed in until you sign out.
Payment and fraud prevention
When the card form is shown, or when your bank asks you to confirm a card payment, our payment processor Stripe sets necessary cookies that protect against fraud and card abuse. They are set only then (not while you use the rest of the app) and are a prerequisite for secure payment.

What we do not use

We use no tools for advertising, analytics or profiling. Fonts and scripts ship with the app itself. Nothing is fetched from external networks to render the pages. The mobile apps use no web cookies; the app stores the equivalent necessary data locally on your device.

How to clear stored data

On the web: sign out and clear site data in your browser settings, and everything listed here is removed. In the mobile apps: sign out, or uninstall the app to remove the local data. You can always change the language directly in the app.
