Delete account

You can ask for your Valo Uno account to be deleted at any time. This applies to both customers and providers, and it is free of charge.

Signed in, go to Profile (for providers: More) → Legal and privacy → Delete account. There you see exactly what will be deleted, confirm it is you, and send the request. You can withdraw the request until it has been processed.

You can also email support@valouno.com from the email address your account is registered with. Write “Delete account” in the subject line. We confirm your request and process it under the GDPR.

Your profile (name, email link and photo), your saved address and your saved card with us are removed. For providers, the business profile is also removed with services, prices, working hours and photos. Your login is ended on all devices. Deletion is permanent: the account cannot be restored, and it is a real deletion, not a deactivation or freeze.

Payment and accounting records are kept for seven years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act. Booking history and reviews may need to be kept as records for disputes and legal claims. The link to you as a person is removed: your counterpart sees “Deleted user” instead of your name. Text you wrote yourself (for example messages, reviews or booking notes) may however remain in those records. If your email address previously bounced or was reported as spam, it is also kept on a do-not-email list so we never contact it again.

A provider account is deleted once there are no ongoing bookings or payments in progress. Data processed by Stripe for payouts and know-your-customer purposes is subject to Stripe’s own legal obligations and is deleted under their rules.

We process your request without undue delay and within one month at the latest. You are notified when the deletion is complete.
